
Melanie is an actor specialising in voice and stage. She works regularly as an audiobook narrator and voiceover artist and as an actor producer for Tannie Productions and is a founder member of Next Left.

She most recently appeared as Tannie in ‘Tannie & Tannie’ Northern Tour 2019/20. Previously as Moira in ‘Eric and Moira’ in Next Left:Hope in 2020, as Mel in ‘The Ghost You Can’t Shake’ by Aileen Quinn at Hope Mill Theatre, 2019, as The Mayor in ‘Friday Night, Mayor’ for Sheffield Theatres Making Room Takeover and as Lord Montague in Romeo and Juliet at Hope Mill Theatre.

Other recent appearances were: Joan for Tesco’s ‘Food Love Stories’ campaign, in ITV’s Coronation Street (Court Clerk, speaking role) and as Blodwyn in Peter Huntley’s wonderfully quirky series of radio sketches: Dylan and Blod Talk about Dai for Cornucopia Radio.
